These past couple weeks have been some of the hardest I have had to endure in a while. And if there’s one thing that has kept me going is having faith in Allah and knowing that it’ll all get easier. I pray this year brings peace, health and happiness to not just me but to everyone. Here’s to my 29th year of life (a week later 🤫) #29 🎈

I am SO excited to support the @unrwausa virtual Gaza 5K in support of mental health services for children in Gaza. For kids growing up under blockade, violence, poverty, and now COVID-19, access to mental healthcare can be life-saving. 70% of refugee children in Gaza identified as potentially depressed. With your help, funds we raise ensure young girls and boys in Gaza facing trauma can have life-changing access to UNRWA mental health counselors to learn healthy coping skills that can benefit them through their lifetime. Not only will you be providing employment in a struggling economy, these counselors are refugees themselves, and know best how to help their own communities.
