Just like swings any time I see a ferris wheel I have to ride it. Its one of those fair rides that never gets old, and the one at the national harbor in DC is one of the best. The view of the marina is gorgeous and in the summer it’s air conditioned, I mean how much better can it get? Aside from an impromptu thunder storm we got stuck in it was a beautiful sunny day suitable for stripes. This top was actually a purchase from the annual Nordstrom anniversary sale and let me tell you its just darling. The simple stripe and ruffle combination had me before I even tried it on. For this summer outing I paired it with a khaki skirt and printed scarf because we all know how much I love mixing prints. Stripes is my go to pattern to mix with another print, its a good base to start with while you mix and match since its such a classic statement.
