DC may be known for their cherry blossoms but a day at the Lincoln memorial requires a touch of rose and new shoes. The day started with a little drizzle and clouds but by the end of the day my umbrella was put up and the sun started to sneak out. In this look I decided to mix patterns and add a little color to a gloomy day. I chose this as my first post because it shows how to push limits with your wardrobe. It’s not everyones first instinct to pair a green leafed skirt with a pink rose top and a t-shirt with a fabulous saying about shoes on it. Sometimes you just have to take a leap and see how it turns out. At times it’ll look crazy but most of the time it’ll be as perfect as you imagine it. Fashion is an expression of who you are and it should be celebrated. Try getting out of your comfort zone, trust me you don’t know what you’re missing out on.
